‘B Corps are family’ – Dominic Toretto, probably. But seriously the B Corp community is super strong, so when a few of us realised we could run a competition that helps you get out into nature, low-impact styles, it was a no brainer.

We’ve harped on about being a B Corp a bit, and rightly-so because getting recertified was bloody hard work. But sometimes in this big wide capitalist world it can feel a bit isolating when your company is actually trying to do the right thing.

That’s why B Corps stick together, or even team up to run rad competitions. You can enter the comp immediately below, but then keep on scrollin’ to learn a bit more about what you could win and what the companies behind them are up to.

It’s us! WAE is a publication so it’s a little bit less obvious how we reduce our impact. The entire team works remotely and we have no formal office, which significantly reduces our emissions, but our biggest impact comes from harnessing our community.

We’ve raised over $100k to buyback land in the Daintree and return it to Traditional Owners, plant out a plot of natives in the Snowy Mountains, and replant an underwater crayweed forest off the coast of Sydney. We provided heaps of environmental education during last federal election and we’re currently filming a YouTube series called Act Local that’s all about people who are creating grassroots environmental change in their communities.
