We Are Explorers isn’t just about finding pretty places and helping people get there.

We want to create a community of Explorers who get outside together, grow their appreciation for Mother Nature, and inspire them to protect what they love to explore.

That’s why each year, we create and facilitate campaigns and events to improve the health of both the planet and its people.

Here’s what we’ve achieved so far!

Underwater Forest Project

In November 2022, we joined forces with Operation Crayweed, a non-for-profit replanting the underwater seaweed forests of Sydney’s coastline. We crowdfunded $42,000 to be able to replant a 20m2 underwater crayweed site that’ll become self-sustaining and continue to expand.

Put The Planet First

In the lead up to the 2022 federal election, we ran an editorial and social campaign to help our audience make an informed decision, and encouraged them to make the planet and environment their top priority when it came time to vote.

Unlock Outside

Post-2021 lockdown, we encouraged Explorers around Australia to ‘Unlock Outside’ with a five-week outdoor challenge as we raised money for batyr, a preventative mental health organisation for young people.

Rewild The Snowies

In 2020, with the help of Keep It Cool, we crowdfunded over $40,000 to help plant a forest of native trees and plants in the lower Snowy Mountains during a community planting day.

Explore Your Backyard

Post-2020 lockdown, we inspired Explorers across the country to look no further for adventure than their own backyard – Australia!

Protect The Daintree

In 2019, we teamed up with Rainforest 4 Foundation to raise over $25,000, buy back a hectare of the Daintree Rainforest, and return it to national parks and the Traditional Custodians.
