WESTERN AUSTRALIA

The Kimberley & North West Outdoor Activities & Adventures

The Kimberley and North West region is big. It makes up over a third of Western Australia, but luckily it has equally as big landscapes, skies, flora, and fauna to fill it.

From Lake Argyle in East Kimberley which is 18 times bigger than Sydney Harbour, to the ancient towering sandstone formations of the Bungle Bungles, and the dramatic gorges found all over the famous Gibb River Road and Karijini National Park. And who could forget Broome, the pearl of the Kimberley, sitting pretty on the red dirt coast?

The Kimberley and North West is for those looking to expand their horizons and tackle big adventures. Buckle up, you’re gonna need grit (and probably a 4WD) to explore here.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge that this land on which we tread, whilst beautiful and revered by us, has even deeper layers of significance for its Traditional Owners; we pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.

We Are Explorers is aware that the land is never truly being explored anew, given the ancient cultures that came before us who still call this land their home.
