What’s included in the course?

While you enjoy staying in the comfort of the Corinna Wilderness Village, you’ll participate in a navigation masterclass, learning how to read a map and compass and to interpret topographic maps with confidence. The purpose of the course is to teach valuable lifesaving skills, give you the confidence to connect with nature, and enjoy your time in the wild. Caro will teach you how to read the landscape while walking with it, not against it.

All your meals and snacks are provided, including a final restaurant meal to celebrate completing the course. Along the way, you’ll be treated to the Pieman River Cruise experience. You also get to keep your map, compass, and a copy of Caro’s book How to Navigate.
