Gippsland

Gippsland is Victoria’s largest region, encompassing the entirety of the state’s East Coast. Think Phillip Island, Wilsons Prom, Mt Baw Baw, and all the beachside towns from Metung to Mallacoota.

In one visit you can see penguins, ogle at caves, soak in hot springs and fang it on MTB trails, but there are plenty of smaller towns, islands, and epic places well off the beaten track too.

It’s absolutely dripping with exploration potential. From the less-travelled inland regional towns to the bustling Gippsland Lakes and well-loved promontory, you could spend a lifetime here and never see it all.
