Time to get butt naked for nature… wait no that’s something different. Time to go to a festival and kick back with some Stone & Wood beers because that’s how fundraising should be.

It’s festival season baby, that means live music, sunny days, icy bevs, and good times with mates. With that in mind, Pony Rider presents in association with Stone & Wood, the vanlife event Wild For Wilderness. On top of all the festival goodness, attending also means you’re doing nature a solid by helping to raise funds to buy land to grow our national parks – good on ya.

Let's Get Wild for Wilderness - Hiking

Wild for Wilderness is Not Your Average Festival

Get the most out of your weekend by arriving early on site (gates open at 9am Saturday) and getting straight into the activities. Go for a hike, ride the MTB trails, float down the river on your canoe or start things off with a bang with a horse ride. Yes, real horses.

If you aren’t too occupied at the Stone & Wood bar, at midday you can join in on some wholesome activities including a native food walk, breathwork session, and ice baths.

Saturday afternoon get your boogie on with the likes of the Salaryman, Bananagun, and DJ Johnny Ladd on the decks, and kick back with the adventure film screenings.

Sunday morning you’ll be pleased to hear Single O will be serving up brews from 6am (what hangover?) with morning tunes, dawn yoga, river swims, and another ice bath session before heading home. ‘Moisturised, happy, in my lane, focused, flourishing’, should be this festival’s mantra.

I’m in! But what are we raising money for exactly?

Our B-Corp buddies Pony Rider and Stone & Wood are working together to raise funds for The National Project, Pony Rider’s foundation that supports national parks. This land buy-back scheme aims to purchase land that surrounds existing national parks to extend their footprint, and in co-management with First Nations custodians, work to regenerate the environment for generations to come.

20% of all ticket sales will go directly to the cause as well as any extra funds raised during the event including all the dollars you spend on beers!

Stone & Wood is no stranger to a good cause, donating some $2.1 million since 2018 to its local community in the Northern Rivers as part of its Ingrained Foundation. It’s no surprise the crew are back at it again with Wild for Wilderness, going all in on what they know best – beer and big bucks for big causes.

To dig deeper into these initiatives check out Stone & Wood’s impact (they’re asking the important questions like ‘can drinking beer save the planet?’) and Pony Rider’s Giveback program
