Warmshowers.org Foundation, the non-profit committed to linking touring cyclists with hosts globally, has released a revamped website, promising a seamlessly smoother travel experience for everyone involved.

The newly refurbished website aims to simplify the process of connecting cyclists with hosts thanks to its all-new calendar system. You can now secure your stay in real time, bypassing the hassle of lengthy email exchanges.

Following the creation of ride-share apps like Uber and accommodation platforms like AirBnB, Warmshowers.org has also introduced a five-star rating system, so you can be at ease each time you book knowing your host has been tried and tested.

The fresh new website also boasts resources to cater to everyone’s needs. From captivating narratives on the blog to invaluable hosting and riding resources, FAQs, and informative videos.

Executive Director Tahverlee Anglen explains, ‘For years, the Warmshowers community has thrived on the spirit of connection and shared adventure. These new website features foster deeper connections and richer experiences for cyclists and hosts’.

Who is Warmshowers.org and what do they do?

Since its inception in 1993, Warmshowers.org has been the mutual friend connecting touring cyclists with friendly hosts with a place to rest your head and, undoubtedly, have a warm shower.

With around 200,000 users, it has one of the biggest profiles in bike touring, and despite being US-based, there are around 7,000 hosts in Australia that cyclists can connect with.
