Hey Kiwis! Now’s your chance to check out the latest film by The North Face & New Zealand’s strongest freestyle skier, Hank Bilous, as it screens at a city near you!

 

Directed and produced by Hank Bilous himself, The War on Style, opens the lid of the creative mind of this skier and surfer turned writer and nurse. 

The film explores the relationship between technical skill and self-expression, both in the world’s Bilous is known in – skiing and surfing – as well as those more unfamiliar, like nursing. 

The film was shot on location in Gisbourne, Wanaka, and Dunedin and is described as an audiovisual experience propelled forward by the poetic observations gathered from what Hank refers to as his ‘big-little life’.
