Kicking off from 1st September, the @womensadventu Kicking off from 1st September, the @womensadventurefilmtour is hitting 27 Australian locations.

Now in its 10th year, the 2026 curation represents the ‘spirit of perseverance and the power of women in the outdoors to inspire, entertain, and spark important conversations’.

Expect a focus on resilience and creativity, not just in the challenging outdoor environments these women endure, but the internal ones they carry with them.

Check out French Island - home to 230 bird species and even long-nosed Potoroos!

Explorer @hikewithmg hiked approximately 16km, combining a couple of different trails, including the Coastal Walking Track to Fairhaven Campground, Wetlands Circuit to the Pinnacle and a bit of road walking along Clump Road and Tankerton Road, for koala spotting.

Located off the coast of the Mornington Peninsula, the island is reachable via ferry from Phillip Island or Stony Point (on the Stony Point train line from Frankston or 1hr 20min drive from Melbourne).

Don’t forget to look up the ferry timetable before you set out, and remember to leave no trace!

Good news for Heysen hikers! The South Australia Good news for Heysen hikers!

The South Australian Government has come through on an election promise to buy land at Cudlee Creek (lol) so that hikers on Australia's longest walking trail no longer have to detour on narrow, winding roads.

The purchase of nearly six hectares to add to Cudlee Creek Conservation Park reopens a 1km section of the Heysen Trail that crossed private land and was closed off by its former owner.

Great things! Catchya in the Adelaide Hills.
