If you don’t know Rick J Petersen from his TikTok channel, he’s sure to become a household name very soon. Rick is one of the contestants on Alone Australia Season 2 and we chatted to him before the season aired to find out where his strengths lie.

 

Rick’s no stranger to the camera lens. He’s recently blown up on TikTok with his videos educating viewers on survival and bushcraft skills – skills he’s gained from years in the military that must’ve come in handy during his stint on Alone Australia Season 2.

Tim chats to Rick about how his time in the defence force, particularly moving from Tassie to Townsville, shaped his perspective of the world. Listen in!
