Will & Bear are making the earth green again, one hat at a time.

There’s no shortage of hats that have run with the, ‘Make [insert cause] Great Again’ trope. However, there aren’t many that go towards such an undeniably good cause.

Leaders in sustainable headwear, Will & Bear, have just launched their latest range of hats that stand for a greener future, the Green Cap and Green Bucket.

They’ll be donating 100% of the profits from these to ‘earth bettering organisations’. As if that wasn’t enough, they’re also planting ten trees for every hat sold.

Whether your cranium is inclined towards the 5-panel cap or the classic bucket, both styles are crafted from recycled hemp and recycled organic cotton.

If you buy one here in Australia, those profits will go to Australian non-for-profit, Rainforest Rescue, an organisation which protects rainforests through maintenance, restoration, planting, and the purchasing of high conservation value rainforest.

In the US, Will & Bear have partnered with American Forests, another non-for-profit, established in 1875 and dedicated to protecting and restoring healthy forest ecosystems.

Depending on where in the world you bought your hat, you could be responsible for cultivating anything from tropical rainforests in far north Queensland to Boreal Forest in the USA’s Sierra Nevada’s, and plenty more trees in between.

Since its founding in 2016, Will & Bear have planted over 1 million trees.

Here’s to a million more. And remember:

‘Not hat, no play!’
