Your Hosts

Dorrigo Mountain Holiday Park was established in the early 80s, but the new managers Peter and Leigh Robson have only been managers since 2018.

They want the park to be a place to relax and reflect on the wonders of the rainforest and escarpment environment. ‘I just want people to come here, relax and enjoy the park grounds and the happy atmosphere the guests bring to the park’ says Peter.

It’s not hard to enjoy the spot, situated on top of a hill, surrounded by farmland in the cool air of the escarpment, almost 1000m above sea level! As the only cabin and camping accomodation in Dorrigo, you’ll be sharing the park with many like-minded travellers, there to see the natural wonders of Dorrigo National Park.

The Robsons admit that they got into the campground business not knowing how fulfilling it would be. “It’s such a wonderful way to live, to share our life experiences,’ says Leigh, talking about sharing stories with travellers around the campfire.

Leigh’s favourite stories are when campers find out they share mutual friends, it happens more often than you’d think!
