VICTORIA

The Murray

Snaking its way through the heart of The Murray region is none other than The Murray River itself – Australia’s longest river and the border between Victoria and NSW.

With over 2,500km to choose from, the river provides plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, and pulling up stumps alongside some River red gums.

With abundant history in the area, and wildlife and natural landscapes to boot, The Murray is country Australia at its finest.

Time to take the plunge!

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge that this land on which we tread, whilst beautiful and revered by us, has even deeper layers of significance for its Traditional Owners; we pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.

We Are Explorers is aware that the land is never truly being explored anew, given the ancient cultures that came before us who still call this land their home.
