We first came across the unique piece of kit through Dangle Supply’s collab with US outdoor website Field Mag. The special edition came in a High Viz orange (so you don’t lose it lol), and sold like wildfire. Searching for more info, we turned up a predictably cooked About Us page and, to our relief, found out that the original DangleBong™ was still available.

We’ve heard from jambijambi.com, the previous Australian supplier, that demand has picked up since this article went live and they’ll be getting in a shipment from Dangle Supply. This will avoid a shipping charge of over 100 US dollars, so reach out to them if you’re interested!

What’s so special about DangleBong™?

Weighing in at just 150 grams, the ‘waterpipe’ was brought to life after bikepacking stoners and owners Dan Gullbongs Jr. and Danny Gullbongs noticed the trend of bikepackers hanging titanium gear from their packs. What started as a joke product for a few mates quickly became a bonafide product, because we all know that glass has no place in the wild.

The kit comes with an ‘UltraSucc’ bowl that integrates with the rubber stopper accessory and stows it for travel. Set up and pack down will be easier than your next inhale.

Raw titanium is the preferred colourway, but our favourite is the blue speckle (not sure if this one’s available in Aus). Drawing inspiration from those old school plates and mugs in your camping box means that the DangleBong™ will fit right in.

To put the cherry on top, the waterpipe is environmentally friendly. The medical-grade, non-reactive titanium material from which it’s constructed is reusable, dishwasher safe, and 100% vegan.
