Cowra’s canola fields are a spring sensation – and we’ve found the best ways to experience them!

The rolling hills of Cowra, NSW blossom this time of year, thanks to the fields of canola crops. It’s a spectacle that needs to be seen to be believed, as entire paddocks turn fluorescent yellow!

To experience it for yourself, you can self-drive to explore the region or book a canola tour while the fields are in bloom between August and October.

Whichever option you choose, Kurt Overzet, Manager of Cowra Tourism, has a reminder for visitors planning a trip to the region.

‘We ask that our visitors be mindful that canola fields are on private property and are not to be entered. The best way to capture the best shot is by booking a Canola Tour,’ he said.
