Welcome to Central NSW

Over the hills and not too far away is Central NSW, and it’s brimming with adventure.

Well known for its food, wine, and events, there is a good chance you’ll have scenic trails, lookouts, swim spots, and campgrounds all to yourself in this region.

Central NSW is idllyic for a long weekend, so chuck the tent in the boot, the bikes on the back, and strap in for a wild time out west!

When To Go

Central NSW has something going for it all year round.

During spring the place is full of wildflowers and the paddocks are bursting with canola.

Summer can get pretty hot, but just come prepared! There are plenty of spots to cool off.

How To Get There

Central NSW is tucked in just behind the Blue Mountains and stretches from Oberon and Bathurst out to Forbes, Parkes, and Lachlan Shire, and down to Grenfell and Cowra.

From Sydney either drive through the Blue Mountains, or head down the Hume Highway and take the Lachlan Valley Way turnoff.
