The Banff Mountain Film Festival returns to Australia with more than 50 screenings across 28 locations. Bringing you jaw-dropping, high-altitude adventures, it’s guaranteed to leave you inspired. So strap in, it’s going to be epic.

 

Banff Mountain Festival is a world tour that brings a curated selection of adrenaline-filled and inspiring films to screens around the country. The 2025 selection features seven incredible films that push the boundaries of human endurance, adventure, and achievement.

 

 

Heading straight from its launch at the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival in Alberta, Canada, Jemima Robinson, Director of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour in Australia, says, ‘The 2025 World Tour represents our most ambitious Australian program yet’. With 28 locations, including regional areas, the remarkable stories told are more accessible than ever to nationwide audiences.

About the Films

Seven incredible award-winning stories will be told at this year’s Banff Mountain Film Festival.
