Before joining the WAE crew, Anna worked as a journalist in Far North Queensland, where a day consisted of anything from interviews with sugarcane farmers to getting amongst the island lifestyle on fishing boats. Initially hailing from the small town of Dorrigo on the Waterfall Way, she spent her early years living in an off-grid caravan and in a hippie community – where shoes and clothes were optional, and time in nature mandatory. Now you’ll find her with a good coffee or wine, book in hand; or running, camping, and exploring Sydney’s National Parks and beaches – often shoeless, but always fully clothed.
