Epic MTB action is coming to Collie in WA this year!

Western Australia has been selected to host the AusCycling Mountain Bike Enduro National Championships for 2024, 2025, and 2026.

The championships will be held in the town of Collie in WA’s South West, which is home to more than 100km of MTB trails.

In 2024 the event will run from the 17th to 20th of October and feature National and Oceania Championships – with mountain bikers competing across 20 national championship categories.

Member for Collie-Preston, Jodie Hanns said, ‘One of the many amazing things about Collie-Preston is our spectacular mountain bike trails – we’ve developed a reputation for having some of the best in the world – so I can’t think of a better place to hold this event’.

‘[We] can’t wait to welcome competitors and visitors to our beautiful part of the world in October and show off all that our great community has to offer’, she added.

What is the AusCycling Mountain Bike Enduro National Championship?

The National Championship will bring together Australia’s and Oceania’s best MTB riders and is an important qualifier for the World Championships. It’s also a chance for riders to gain Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) points – which help with international rankings.

In 2023 it was hosted in Red Hill, Victoria – but this year’s event will mark the first time the championships have been held in Western Australia!

More than 1,000 riders are expected to compete across the four-day event in 2024 – with spectators also expected to flock to the Collie Town Mountain Bike Trails and take in all the action.
