Come Get Social

Sydneysiders gather your mates and save the date for the 9th of June! DJs will be spinning tunes and Heaps Normal beers are on the house for your Friday knock offs at the 9 Degrees bouldering gym in the heart of the city. If you don’t want to climb, that’s cool, enjoy the party, food trucks, and get amongst the $2000 giveaway from Arc’teryx on the night.

What’s on?

Heaps Normal will be providing free non-alcoholic beers for grooving with your mates and for climbers to quench their thirst after scaling the walls. There’ll be food trucks out the front (dumplings and burgers, drool) where you can buy some dinner to refuel and party on.

Climbing will be free of charge and open from 6pm-9:30pm for climbers of all skill levels. Never been bouldering? It’s rock climbing without the ropes and heights, so it’s easy to take your first steps on beginner routes. 9 Degrees Waterloo is the climbing gym’s newest and most advanced facility, so seasoned climbers, get ready to push your limits.

Don’t Miss the Arc’teryx Giveaway

If climbing and brews hasn’t got you locked in already, Arc’teryx will be giving away a $2,000 voucher on the night to sweeten the deal. You’ll be able to deck yourself out in top of the line climbing gear for your new hobby or grab that Arc’teryx jacket you’ve been eyeing off for three winters in a row (guilty). You’ll need to attend the event in order to enter the competition, so put a reminder in your phone for reals, you don’t want to miss this one.

Think this party is pretty rad? I’ve got great news for you, Arc’teryx has decided to set up shop in Bondi Junction with their new store opening on the 22nd of June. You’ll be able to buy fresh threads (of course) but also repair, upcycle or trade in your old gear through their ReBird program. Winning all round!

Catch yas at the climbing gym!
