Do you have a dream adventure you’re dying to go on but don’t have the funds for? Well Amble’s $5,500 grant might be your saving grace!

Melbourne-based sustainable outdoors brand, Amble, has brought back its women-specific Adventure Grant for the second year in a row, with applications opening on Tuesday the 27th of August.

After identifying that the outdoors industry was dominated by extreme adventures that weren’t particularly inclusive for a lot of people, the female-founded brand launched the grant last year to encourage and support women of all abilities and ages to live out their adventure dreams, whether big or small.

In announcing the return of the grant, Amble acknowledged that adventure looks different to everyone and said it was on a mission to simplify and diversify the outdoor experience.

‘Whether your dream adventure is doing an iconic hike such as the Three Capes in Tassie or your first kayaking trip, we believe in simplifying the outdoors experience. Maybe you’d love to explore the Dark Sky sites and learn more about Indigenous astrology, or map out the best wheelchair-accessible adventures,’ the brand says on the application page.

Amble strongly encourages applications from people identifying as women, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples and those with a disability.
