Women’s Adventure Film Tour is Australia’s original female-focused film festival, and it’s screening at over 30 locations around Australia during September. 

 

This year’s lineup of films spans a range of adventure activities and landscapes, from packrafting to snow sports, mountains and cliffs to rivers and oceans. But the stories are more than just about overcoming endurance and environmental obstacles in the outdoors. 

Each film digs a little deeper into the challenges faced by women when they step into the realm of adventure. From gender discrimination in outdoor media marketing and unequal pay, to experiences of negative body image and what it’s like being the only black woman within an outdoor community. 

This combination of inspiring and thought-provoking films is coming to a theatre near you very soon, so check out the dates and locations below and grab yourself a ticket!
