Australia’s freshest travel publication, The Rambler Travel Series, needs your help to bring authentic and underrated Aussie experiences to your lounge room, in the form of a gorgeously crafted coffee table magazine.

Frustrated by the same old ‘must-visit’ spots on Aussie travel lists, The Rambler Co has set out to create a new kind of travel inspo, one that digs deep into regional Australia, and comes packaged up pretty enough to adorn your coffee table for years to come.

The Rambler Travel Series is Australia’s freshest travel publication created by The Rambler Co – a series of collectible magazines, each edition featuring a different region of Australia with locations that often slip under the radar showcased like you’ve never seen them before.

As a new independent publisher The Rambler Co is hoping that their product is something that Australians will want to pore over, hold on to, and cherish, not just flick through and bin.

The first edition is on Queensland’s Tropical North and includes stories about hiking in the wet tropics, insights into Cape York’s Indigenous culture and rock art, swimming with dwarf minke whales, and even an article on Cairns’ local gin distillery.

The best part is, the standard pages of deals and blindingly bright ads that you usually have to flick through to get to the good stuff, weren’t even considered for publication.

In order to get the entire Rambler Travel Series off the ground a Kickstarter campaign has been started, allowing you to pledge a bit of cash, and get a stunning magazine in return, with enough travel inspo to fuel your next holiday.

Pledges range between $30 and $1000 and, depending on how much dosh you’re willing to drop, you could be delivered a gorgeous A3 sized photographic print or a cute set of postcards featuring tropical fruit as well.

Supporting independent journalism, being inspired to explore new zones, and showing off a gorgeous new coffee table book – not a bad use of $30!
