Have a big adventure idea but short on the funds to make it happen? The North Face Adventure Grant could be your ticket to the adventure of a lifetime.

Applications for The North Face Adventure Grant are open for 2023, with the winning applicant receiving $8,000 to cover expedition costs, plus $2,000 worth of The North Face gear to help them get it done! Have you got a trip you’ve been day dreaming about?

Your expedition can be a solo or group mission and could cover nearly anything that falls under the umbrella of ‘adventure’ – from rock climbing, trekking, or kayaking, to skiing, snowboarding, or alpine climbing – the more unique the better!

The grant is open to Australian and New Zealand citizens, but you can pitch an adventure in any corner of the globe!

For over a decade, The North Face has awarded annual Adventure Grants to Explorers with big expedition dreams and helped turn them into a reality. This grant isn’t about rewarding elite athletes, but about making unique ideas come to life and helping make big adventures accessible to everyone.

Stuck for ideas? Previous adventure grant recipients include Milly Young, who ran the entirety of the South Coast and Port Davey tracks in remote Southwest Tassie, John Morris, who set out to Warrumbungle National Park in NSW to climb three 100m+ spires in 24 hours, and a trio of mates, Jackson Gallagher, Mark Cole Smith, and Lachie Carracher, who kayaked the Martuwarra / Fitzroy River in the remote Kimberley, WA.

Applications are open now until the 31st of December 2022. Time to start dreaming big!
