Grab your life jacket and paddle! The F.O.C.K. is a new adventure festival coming to NSW’s Kangaroo Valley.

After battling through fire, flood, COVID, and road closures, Kangaroo Valley by the NSW South Coast has taken a beating in the last few years. So local explorers, Dylan Jones and Travis Frenay have taken it upon themselves to bring some excitement and explorers back to the Valley.

Introducing The F.O.C.K. – The Festival Of Canoe and Kayak!

Despite the risque title, The F.O.C.K. is a family-friendly festival that will see a mix of free and paid events and activities held around Kangaroo Valley over three days, from June 17th to 19th 2022.

From a sunset black-tie paddle and live music acts only viewable from a watercraft, to Aboriginal cultural activities, a family treasure hunt, and even a world record attempt, the festival will have something for everyone!

‘The plan for the FOCK is to establish a festival that aligns with the Winter Solstice (June 21) and International Canoe Day (June 26),’ says The F.O.C.K. organiser Dylan Jones. ‘Our long term goal is to grow this event over a number of years in a traditionally quiet period for the destination, outside of school holidays.’

Dylan says it’s been a rough time for the small town, with recent flooding seeing the forces closure of the main tourist road down into the Valley.
