Tasmania has just announced that from Friday November 6th their borders will open to NSW! That’s next week!

According to the health benchmarks set by the Tassie Government, NSW has been idling as a medium-risk state for a while now, meaning anyone who’s been in the state in the last 14 days must quarantine on arrival to Tasmania.

However, Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein has today announced that from November 6th, NSW will be classified as a low-risk state – that means no quarantine! We’re stinging to get back to Tassie!

Victorians will still need to wait a little longer, but it’s hoped that the borders between VIC and TAS will be open in time for Chrissy.

So where are you going first? Maybe take the fam to the Bay of Fires? Or explore the wonders of Bruny Island? Maybe you could climb the Walls of Jerusalem. It’s all up to you and it’s yours for the taking! Go on, get it!

Explore Tassie!
