Hey Sydneysiders! The Sunshine State is opening up!

From December 1st (that’s just one week away!) residents from the Greater Sydney area will be allowed to travel to Queensland without having to quarantine for 14 days on arrival.

That means summer can be filled with all that glorious Queensland sand, sea, and sunshine!

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk made the announcement today, after Greater Sydney reached 28 days straight of no untraceable community transmitted cases.

Other residents from around NSW have been allowed into Queensland since November 3rd.

It’s expected that the same announcement will be made for Victoria tomorrow, so long as the state continues its 27-day streak of no new cases.

Did someone say road trip?
