Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszuk has announced that the state will be opening their borders from July 10 (that’s less than 2 weeks away!)

The Sunshine State is happy to welcome interstate travellers back to the sunny side from the 10th of July, pending they haven’t been in Victoria in the last 14 days – sorry Vicco.

In an effort to prevent Victorians from crossing the border, every interstate traveller will have to fill out a declaration form before being permitted entry. And don’t try fibbing on the form! That’ll cost you a whopping $4000.

Queenslanders are also being highly discouraged from heading to Victoria, with a 14-day hotel quarantine (plus the bill!) waiting for you on your return.

But for those living in NSW, ACT, SA, WA, NT or TAS, the sun, sand and sea of Queensland is just a week and a half away.

Looking for some Queensland adventure inspo? We’ve got it on lock.
