Divya Gordon began her career in a corporate job in Sydney after graduating with an economics degree. Now she’s an adventure filmmaker based in the NSW Snowy Mountains.

 

Divya produced and directed the recently released film Maven, showcasing the women at the forefront of Australia’s backcountry skiing community. The film is currently touring with Warren Miller’s 75th anniversary movie, All Time, as well as with the Arc’teryx Winter Film Tour.

Our Editor, Amy, had the chance to talk to Divya about how she got into the outdoors and filmmaking and how her latest film is putting a spotlight on women in the backcountry.
