Depending on the season – wet or dry – your flight will take a different route to make the most of the sensational scenery of the national park.

During Dry Season (June – November), you’ll take flight over Dinosaur Valley, through Upper East Alligator Valley and along the twists and turns of East Alligator River, before sweeping over the Magela Floodplains.

During Wet Season (December – May) you’ll take in the plunging waterfalls while they’re in full force, including Jim Jim, Twin, and Double Falls. The flight will follow along the escarpment to ‘Lightning Dreaming’ and soar across the Arnhem Plateau.

5. Tandem Skydiving Over Rottnest Island

If you really want to test your Mum’s capacity to handle an adrenaline rush, there’s no more scenic way to do it than a tandem skydive over Perth’s Rottnest Island.

You’ll take a ferry from Fremantle over to the island, before climbing aboard the plan and jumping from 15,000ft high!

You’ll freefall for around 60 seconds at a speed of up to 200km/h (!!) before your instructor pulls the parachute and you spend five minutes sailing on down to the pristine Rottnest Island Beach.
