Looking for a summer bush beach retreat? A newly refurbished cottage has just opened in Murramarang National Park on the NSW South Coast.

The Judges House is nestled amongst the bushland of Murramarang National Park and boasts access to a private beach, plus an open-plan living space that opens onto a massive deck, so you can let all that natural goodness indoors. The cottage sleeps up to six people, making it ideal for a family or group of mates after a retreat into nature.

There are a bunch of bushwalking tracks nearby, plus great spots to kayak and fish, and Batemans Bay is only a 30 minute drive away.

It’s a perfect perch for whale watching during winter, and bird spotting all year round. You might even peep a colony of penguins if you’re lucky!

A stay at the Judges House is a bit of a commitment – there’s a 7 night minimum stay, with check in only available on Saturdays and a cost per night between $350-$450. But you deserve to treat yo’self, so go for it!
