The Progressive Wild Degustation Tasting Adventure begins with a morning pick up from Melbourne by Wild Adventures Melbourne as we take the 60-90 minute drive to the breathtaking Mornington Peninsula, a region that’s one of only five UNESCO biosphere reserves in Australia.

Our first stop is meeting a local Indigenous guide for a cultural bushtucker nature hike as you see, touch, smell, taste, and learn to identify, forage and use native plants in both culinary and wellness contexts. This fascinating two hour walk takes place in either a coastal or forest setting depending on the conditions of the day.

Next we head to the heart of the Peninsula and a regenerative farm and wetlands for a tour with the owner learning about restoring the land and food systems, before a pick-your-own-lunch al fresco dining experience, infused with native ingredients harvested during the bushtucker walk.

Following lunch, the degustation adventure continues along the iconic Peninsula coastline as we explore the ocean with a private stand up paddleboarding and snorkelling lesson and tour spotting marine life along the way (or paddling a beautiful lake depending on the weather conditions), with a very special floating marine cheese board along the way. Qualified SUP instructors and snorkel guides lead the way with all equipment provided.

After an epic fulfilling and filling day of incredible produce, nature, culture, and conservation, we head back to Melbourne in the late afternoon.

Please note:

During the colder months of May & September, the SUP/Snorkel activity is replaced with a guided bike tour at Point Nepean National Park.

After lunch we journey to the southern tip of the Peninsula and the wonderful Point Nepean National Park, for a guided bike tour along nature trails, and dramatic coastal scenery with ocean views all around as we ride to the old fortress and back, with a marine-inspired cheese board as you breathe in some of the freshest air in the world, and spot a few whales on their annual migration.
