Come enjoy a classic 6 hour Paddy Pallin rogaine that is only a short drive from Sydney or Canberra! We’ll be using our navigation skills to explore stunning native forest. There will be plenty of route options for all ages, navigational abilities and fitness levels.

Our starting and finishing area, called the Hash House (HH), will be in Belanglo State Forest. You can expect to meander with friends and family along hiking loops of your design, or challenge yourself to stride out big loops with steep climbs, accumulating big points. This is your chance to go loopy! Whatever you choose you will revel in the sandstone country with grand canyon views and beautiful flora and fauna.

Head back to the HH when you are ready, enjoy a catered meal, and reflect on the day with all the other participants before heading back home with lots of new memories.

Belanglo State Forest consists of cultivated pine plantations, and native forest. The native forest is made up of a large variety of trees, shrubs and grasses, some of which are flowering, plus discrete areas of ferns and fragile mosses and lichen. The diverse forest supports diverse bush life including scarlet robins, gang gang cockatoos, eastern & crimson rosellas, ducks, wedge-tailed eagles, reptiles, wombats, kangaroos & wallabies, and a variety of butterflies.

This event will take place over 6 hours where teams of 2 to 5 people can be out on course from 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday. Map handout starts at 7 am, so arrive in plenty of time to plan your course.

The Hash House (HH) is towards one corner of the course, with tracks providing excellent conduits for travel. The Hash House also provides a large, flat area for camping.
