Wendy Bruere

Wendy has worked with media outlets, UN agencies, and NGOs in a dozen different countries across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. She began rock climbing and canyoning in 2012, while living in Jordan. She now lives in Sydney, and is self-employed as a media relations and communications consultant. In 2020 she was the lead editor for 'More Than It Hurts...and other stories of (mis)adventure by womxn who climb and mountaineer', an anthology published in partnership with rock-climbing and alpine group, Climb & Wine.
