Hilary McAllister

Hilary is an experienced yet accident-prone outdoors woman, often unmotivated ultra-runner, environmental activist in training, and failing adult. After a decade of city living, Hilary is embracing a transient lifestyle and traversing the remote landscapes of Victoria and beyond in her not-so-trusty Landcruiser. In 2020, Hilary co-founded 'For Wild Places', a non-for-profit organisation that exists to make trail running a meaningful expression of environmental activism. Through her travels and advocacy work, Hilary hopes to grow awareness of the threats that face our natural world and guide people to take meaningful action to protect these wild and wonderful places.
