Benedict Kennedy-Cox

Benedict is a travel writer who spends 300 days a year in sleeping bags, hostels, and houses with pets that need sitting. Since beginning writing full time in 2019, Benedict's work has been published in Australian Geographic, AWOL, TimeOut, and The Betoota Advocate. With his partner Katie, he is the co-creator of Planned vs Rogue, a competitive world travel series. His favourite outdoor activities include snorkeling, trying to surf, and bushwalking, especially in his hometown, the Blue Mountains, Darug and Gundugurrah Country. He one day looks forward to paying a junior to write these rather than writing them himself in third person, even if he nails it every time. (he/him)
