No lifts here! Arc’teryx has you covered with all-inclusive alpine access to the Snowy Mountains backcountry across one sick weekend.

They say a snow day is nature’s way of saying you need a break. Throw in a healthy dose of guided backcountry tours, alpine lodge accommodation, and hangs with your fellow Explorers and you might say that nature has definitely called!

Cue, the Arc’teryx NSW Backcountry Weekend.

Running over one awesome weekend from the 16th – 18th September 2022 on the lands of the Ngarigo and Walgal peoples, also known as the Snowies, 30 Explorers will strap on their ski boots and trek into the backcountry with the Arc’teryx team and expert guides.

What’s the Itinerary?

Kicking off on the Friday at the Jindy Inn, Jindabyne, you’ll drop off your gear before gathering to meet the rest of the crew for a bite (inclusive) and a few backcountry stories (not inclusive, but highly likely).

After the tête-à-tête, the plan is to rest up before heading out to the trailhead on Saturday for a guided tour of the Snowies, where you’ll have a front row seat to some of the wildest and most expansive terrain in Aus. We can feel the fresh alpine air already. Oh, and every Explorer will score a goodie bag chockers with Arc’teryx gear.

Heads up! No backcountry experience is required but you’ll need to know your way around a black ski run.

Keen for a spring alpine escape? You and your mates can pick up your tickets now and learn more about the Arc’teryx NSW Backcountry Weekend. We reckon it’ll be the peak of your year (sorry, couldn’t help ourselves).
