A series of short films showcasing some of the world’s most inspiring women in adventure? We say yes! The Women’s Adventure Film Tour will be touring Australia in September with a diverse selection of films celebrating radical females.
In an oft male dominated industry, the Women’s Adventure Film Tour shines a light on a series of amazing stories from females in the field. Featuring both local and international adventurers, the tour is a celebration of the many girls out there who are not only pushing the limits, but blowing them wide open.
From the youngest Australian to summit the peaks of Everest, to the girls carving up the Iranian slopes, the stories chosen for the tour are both diverse and empowering.
Aside from amazing feats of adventure, the film tour portrays the incredible ways in which women from around the world have overcome adversity to achieve the unbelievable, while also providing a focus on humanitarian issues.
The films are guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping, and give you a healthy dose of inspiration — be ready to get out there and make magic happen!
The Women’s Adventure Film Tour is presented in partnership with our friends at She Went Wild and Osprey Packs. It’ also supported by the Department of Health’s Girls Make Your Move campaign, Adventurous Women and Outer Edge Magazine.
