We respectfully acknowledge that our Yurrebilla adventure is on Kaurna Land traditionally owned by the Kaurna People.

Join Big Heart Adventures as we explore the Yurrebilla Trail on our three-stage series for 2024!

The cost of this walk includes bus transport and morning tea. Men and women welcome!

The Yurrebilla trail is just 12km from Adelaide and is 56km in total. It takes in some of the most scenic trails through the Adelaide Hills.

What to Expect

Stage 2 of the Yurrebilla Trail is approximately 18-20km from Eagle on the Hill to Norton Summit and is rated moderate to hard. A good level of physical fitness is required. Allow 6 to 7 hours to complete the walk.

This stage takes us through Cleland Conservation Park, Horsnell Gully, and Giles Conservation Park, and also includes some road walking. You will encounter a number of challenging climbs and descents, some of which are steep, and there may be some slippery sections, so we highly recommend bringing hiking poles if you have them.

Bus Meet Spot

Stage 2 includes transport from Norton Summit to Eagle on the Hill.
Meet at 7:45am for an 8:00am bus departure. The bus departs from the Scenic Hotel Car Park Norton Summit but please do not park in this car park – park behind the hotel near the CFS buildings where there are car parks and a toilet.

The community centre also has parking and is a short walk from the hotel. Allow plenty of time to arrive and park. Note that detailed instructions and a map will be emailed to participants 24-48 hours prior to the event.
