We respectfully acknowledge that our Yurrebilla adventure is on Kaurna Land traditionally owned by the Kaurna People.

Join Big Heart Adventures as we explore the Yurrebilla Trail on our three-stage series for 2024!

The cost of this walk includes bus transport and morning tea. Men and women welcome!

The Yurrebilla trail is just 12km from Adelaide and is 56km in total. It takes in some of the most scenic trails through the Adelaide Hills.

What to Expect

Stage 1 of the Yurrebilla Trail is approximately 16km from Belair Railway Station to Eagle on the Hill and is rated moderate to hard. A good level of physical fitness is required. Allow 5 to 6 hours to complete the walk.

This stage takes us through Belair National Park, Brownhill Creek, Waite Reserve, and up to Eagle on the Hill. You will encounter undulated terrain some short steep sections, and some sections may be slippery. We highly recommend bringing hiking poles if you have them.

There is also the dark walk through Echo Tunnel (if you are tall, be prepared to duck your head all the way through!)

Bus Meet Spot

Transport from Eagle on the Hill to Belair is included.

The bus departs at 8.30am from Eagle on the Hill Mountain Bike Bottom Car Park. You will receive instructions and a map on how to get to this location 24-48 hours before the event. Allow plenty of time to arrive and park. Note there are no toilets located at this meet location.

The bus will then take us to Belair Railway Station, where we will then walk back to our cars at Eagle on the Hill.
