For the last few years we’ve been teaming up with our mates at Osprey to bring the Osprey Adventure Grant to life. Adventure grant? I hear you say. Allow me to explain.

Osprey want to give you money and gear to go on a weird and whacky adventure. For the last few years we’ve sent heaps of Explorers out into the wild on escapades that have flung them down into the deepest canyons and up onto the most precarious of highlines (don’t stress – no one was hurt in the having of this fun).

Last year we sent a sibling trio on a multi-day hike and surf trek along the NSW and Vic coastline – a surfari if you will. A dynamic duo spotted and brought awareness to the Black Petrel (tāikoin Maori), an endangered seabird native to New Zealand on a multi-day hike on NZ’s Great Barrier Island. A coupla beer-lovers went deep into a canyon in search of the perfect brew. And a damn-determined group of chicks searched for redemption on the Freycinet Sea Level traverse in Tassie.

You get the idea.

Entries are now OPEN for 2020! So get that idea that’s been swirling around your brain, get your mates on the blower, make sure your idea fits all the nitty-gritty deets and put your application in by Jan 13th 2020.
