The Furber Steps in the Blue Mountains have reopened after being closed for track repairs.

The 996 steps descend into the Jamison Valley, full of lush rainforest and cascading waterfalls.

The steps lead to Scenic Railway, where you can hitch a cable car back to the top or enjoy a ride in the world’s steepest passenger railway.

But, if hiking is more your thing, the Furber Steps are a great way to reach places like Ruined Castle and Mount Solitary.
