In-between ‘surfing her brains out,’ Belinda Baggs is growing a sea-roots movement of surfers who are taking climate action and protecting the Australian coastline.

In Episode 3 of our YouTube Series Act Local, Cameron Doyle’s in Airey’s Inlet to chat with Co-Founder of Surfers for Climate, Belinda Baggs.

After seeing surfers across the country band together for Fight For The Bight campaign, Belinda and Co-Founder Johnny Abegg, were inspired by the success of this grassroots climate action.

Surfers For Climate took off and now thousands of people (and growing) from the surfing community are coming together to protect their playground: the ocean.
