Overnight Adventures is a new company that hires out camping equipment and trail guides for overnight hikes around Sydney.

Keen to get out onto the trails for your first overnight hike but don’t have the right gear or know the area? Overnight Adventures has got you covered.

The new Sydney-based company offers Explorers the opportunity to take a self-guided, multi-day hike without the stress. Their self-guided hiking trip packages include camping fees, the cost of public transport to and from the hike, as well as a detailed guidebook, including track notes and map.

Overnight Adventures also allows you to rent top quality camping and hiking equipment for your trip, so you won’t need to run out and drop a tonne of cash on a new pack, tent and sleeping mat all in one go. And you know they’ll include that one thing you always forget (where’s my bloody head torch?). Plus, if you live in the Sydney area and spend over $100, they’ll deliver your equipment to you for free! Legends.

There’s so much beauty to immerse yourself in, even just an hour outside of the big smoke! Company Founder, Rob Fallon says ‘Our trips go to some truly special places. You can go to see glow worms, swim in a river in the middle of the bush, marvel at a stunning 180m high waterfall, sign your name in a logbook atop a remote mountain or visit ancient Aboriginal sites. Best of all you will be home in time for work on Monday morning.’

Choose between six different hikes in either the Blue Mountains or the Royal National Park.

Hikes in the Blueys are always a winner;

  • Blue Mountains Highlights (2 day)
  • Ruined Castle (3 day)
  • The Six Foot Track (3 day)

Or maybe you’re keen to keep it coastal in the Royal National Park;

  • Hidden Pool Trail (2 days)
  • Royal National Park Highlights (2 day)
  • The Coast Track (2 day)

If you’re not quite up to trekking by yourself yet, or just love having a yarn with someone on the trails, there’s always the option of the monthly group trips as well. Whatever you choose and however you choose to do it, it’s never been easier to get out there!
