Name // Chris Wiewiora (@crispy_scapes)

Website // Crispy Scapes

Hometown // Kiama, Australia

Day Job // Civil Engineering student

Camera and Lens // The majority of my shots nowadays are taken with the Sony a7R and Sony/Zeiss 16-35mm f/4, as I like to keep my gear as light and simple as possible. Especially when I need to carry it for multiple days plus all my camping gear. For more detail on my gear check out this link, www.crispyscapes.com/gear

Inspirations // The drive to explore remote corners of Australia, to try find that perfect frame and capturing scenes experienced by very few people, so I can share them with others, really motivates.

Dream photography location to shoot in Australia // Federation Peak in the Southwest National Park, Tasmania. I want to trek to it in winter someday.

Advice // It’s totally worth the effort trying to find new rarely shot locations and the adventure to get to them, so you can capture some unique images.

Microadventures with @crispy_scapes Golden Salvation Seaman’s Hut, Kosciusko National Park "After waiting on the Western Faces for two days, exposed to 100km/h+ winds, waiting for a small break to escape to Seaman’s Hut and then waiting another four days for the blizzard to clear, this small break in the clouds right at sunset on the last day was such an incredible moment to experience and capture. It was such a fun but also brutal adventure and coming back with this shot, made it all worthwhile." #weareexplorers
