Your hometown // I grew up in Newcastle, NSW – but now call Sydney home
Day Job // Physiotherapist
Your weapons of choice // My trusty Canon 6D (Canon 24-70mm f2.8, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8, Samyang 14mm f2.8) and my new addition the Phantom 4 drone
What puts the fire in your belly // For me photography all started with travel, it grew when I started surrounding myself with creative friends and going on weekend adventures. Having creative people around you always pushes you to become better. For me photography is the ultimate escape and true mindfulness, you need to be in that moment to really capture it.
Where was your last microadventure in Oz // Night adventure to Barrenjoey lighthouse
Where’s your next Australian microadventure going to be // Stockton sand dunes
Scariest thing thats happened to you in the wild // Thankfully nothing bad has ever really happened. I’m pretty hopeless with heights though, I’m always petrified sitting on cliff edges. I only have myself to blame though as I’ll usually do it anyway.
Apart from your camera, what’s the one piece of essential kit you’d always carry in the great outdoors // My only advice… take good friends. If you forget something hopefully they don’t.
Favourite Quote // “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.” – Mark Twain
