What puts the fire in your belly // I try and find inspiration in everything that I can. Whether it be the creative people that I surround myself with or the amazing places I spend my time thinking about, inspiration is always close by.

Where did you go for your last microadventure // My last microadventure in Australia was to The Grampians. I was out there shooting the new campaign for Tourism Victoria and it was epic! On a week-long trip we spent everyday exploring and taking photos – and I came back with quite the photo album.

Next Microadventure // Road-tripping up Great Ocean Road. It’s one of my favourite places on earth!

Scariest Moment in the Wild // Jeep had given me a brand new car to use for a few days (did I mention I was on my red p’s?) and I really wanted to make the most of it. A friend and I drove the thing all the way to the South Australian border, more specifically, Discovery Bay National Park. The whole park was filled with huge sand dunes and it was roughly 100 metres from the ocean (and 150km from civilisation). When we arrived it was 5am and still fairly dark. We began to drive the Jeep up and down the dunes and we came to quite a large hill. Long story short, I ended up getting a brand new Jeep bogged half way up a sand dune. There was no cell reception and it was still dark. It genuinely felt like a scene from Wolf Creek. I don’t know how but after 15 minutes of trying to reverse we finally freed the beast! I’d never felt so relieved in my life.

One Essential piece of Gear // A notebook – this is so whenever I’ve got an idea for a shot in my head I can sketch out the details.
