One of the most common pieces of community feedback we receive is from explorers who struggle to meet other explorers.

Inspired to frothing levels? Tick.
Ideas on where to go? Tick.
Weekend blocked out? Tick.

It’s as if all the ducks are in a row but a vital ingredient is missing; people to share the experience with. Most would argue this is the most essential part of any adventure, no matter how big or small. And lets face it, they’re much more fun when shared.

Whilst WAE has become a platform to inspire Aussies to get outside more often, we haven’t exactly made it easy to find and meet other like-minded weekend warriors near you. But that’s all about to change.

We’ve just launched a new forum on the site which will allow anyone that registers the chance to find other microadventurers,  plan trips together and get into the wild.

  • Planning a day trip to waterfall?
  • A multi-day hike in the backcountry?
  • Bikepacking adventure?
  • An overnight astro-photography mission?

Whatever it might be, the collective hum of adventure stoke this should hopefully generate will encourage us all to get out there a little more and make some new buddies in the process.

So what are you waiting for? Click here, sign up and start planning your next weekend escape.
