Overview

Come along and be part of a challenging, unique trail run through the heart of the Australian landscape.

Blaze your way through four beautiful sections of the Larapinta Trail in Tjoritja, the West MacDonnell Ranges, Central Australia. You will be with a small group of up to 10 people. The trip is fully supported by experienced guides, who’ll lead you on the trail, as well as cook and serve you delicious and nutritious food.

You’ll be camping in swags or tents under the brilliant stars. Enjoy stunning natural beauty, expansive desert views, beautiful gorges and refreshing waterholes with your running mates in 2021!

 

Itinerary

  • Day 1 – Alice Springs Airport to Serpentine Chalet Dam (13km run)
  • Day 2 – Serpentine Chalet Dam to Ormiston Gorge (29km run)
  • Day 3 – Ormiston Gorge to Glen Helen Homestead (13.5 + optional 9km)
  • Day 4 – Redbank Gorge to Mt Sonder then Alice Springs (15.8 or 45km run)
  • Day 5 – Alice Springs and onwards
