Most of us have a very limited understanding of the immensity of the Australian landscape, especially considering the majority of the population are scattered around a coastline of vast, white beaches, lush rainforests and vibrant coral reefs. For those who have tackled the dusty red centre, you’ll probably have a very different perception of the harsh and relentless land belonging to our Indigenous peoples.
If you’ve got a 4WD, now is the perfect time to make the most of it. Spend a week venturing into the heart of Australia and raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia in the process. 54 men receive a new diagnosis of prostate cancer EVERY SINGLE DAY, so this is certainly a cause worth driving for.
This trip is run by Charity Car Events and is led by one of Australia’s most recognised and experienced 4WD gurus, Vic Widman. All food and accommodation is covered in the Meals and Accommodation Package, which means all you have to do is rock up at Cobar with your 4WD and a couple of your favourite legends in the back seat.
